Overview
A company anniversary deserved more than a slideshow. The brief: turn interviews, archival clips and event footage into a two-minute trailer with real cinema energy.
We structured it like a film teaser — cold open, rising stakes, quiet beat, then the payoff — with a full sound mix, licensed score and burned-in captions for silent viewing.
The challenge
Archival footage ranged from phone clips to decade-old DVDs. The edit had to honor the history while keeping a consistent cinematic surface throughout.
Approach
- Find the story spine. We cut the interviews down to one emotional through-line before touching a single b-roll clip.
- Restore and unify. Old footage was cleaned, reframed and graded into the same world as the new 4K material.
- Mix it like a trailer. Score, sound design and silence are paced in three acts so the final logo lands with weight.
Deliverables
- Two-minute cinematic trailer + 30s cutdown
- Archival restoration and unification
- Licensed score and full sound mix
- Captioned and clean masters, all ratios
“The room went silent, then everyone applauded. It felt like our own company premiere night.”
